Norma hours of teaching, which is set for the implementation of the wage rate of teacher loan forgivness (salary), ranges from 18 to 36 hours per week.
Moreover, Article 333 of the Labor Code and Article 5, paragraph 55 of the Russian Federation of July 10, 1992 № 3266-1 «On Education" provides as follows: for the teaching staff of educational institutions is set shorter working hours - no more than 36 hours per week. And for working hours in excess of the standards is an additional charge in accordance with the rates obtained in single size (see the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation on April 3, 2003 № 191).
In addition, the teacher may work part-time. The duration of such work during the month is set for each employment contract and the agreement of the parties (teacher and employer). However, it may not exceed:- Half of the monthly norm of working time, calculated from the prescribed working hours;- 16 hours a week for those teachers who have half the monthly average working time for the principal place of work is less than 16 hours per week.
This is stated in the decree of the Ministry of Labour of Russia June 30, 2003 № 41.
Thus, the working time teachers are not to exceed 36 hours per week. It is in this condition and is made of the teacher work schedule.
Leave teaching employees work longer
The duration of the annual principal paid leave provided the employee is 28 calendar days. Reason - Article 115 of the Labor Code. But for teachers, including teachers, law provide for the granting of annual basic extended paid leave. Its duration is determined by the Government of the Russian Federation and ranges from 42 to 56 days (Article 334 of the Labor Code).
In addition, teachers are entitled to extended leave of up to one year. But not less than every 10 years of continuous teaching experience. The procedure and conditions for granting such leave is determined founders and (or) the charter of an educational institution (Article 335 of the Labor Code).
Russian Ministry of Education by his order of December 7, 2000 № 3570 approved the Regulations on the procedure and conditions of teaching staff of educational institutions long vacation for up to one year (hereinafter - Regulations). But its provisions apply only to the organization for which the Ministry of Education of Russia - the founder (or exercise the powers of the founder).
According to the Regulations are in for a long holiday the employee will keep his job (position). Ability to pay for such leave to extrabudgetary funds is determined by the charter of an educational institution.
Teaching staff can go on early retirement
Old-age pension shall be appointed before the legal age of persons not less than 25 years engaged in teaching. This is stated in paragraph 10, paragraph 1 of Article 28 of the Federal Law of December 17, 2001 № 173-FZ "On labor pensions in the Russian Federation" (hereinafter - Law № 173-FZ).
List of positions and institutions, as well as periods of work, which authorize the appointment of early labor retirement pension to persons engaged in teaching activities at state and municipal institutions for children approved by the Government of the Russian Federation of October 29, 2002 № 781. Note that, under Article 10 of the Law № 173-FZ of the insurance period for calculating pensions include periods of work and (or) other activities in Russia. However, provided that those periods were paid premiums to the Pension Fund of Russia.
Another paid leave is also included in the insurance period. After an employee has an employment relationship, and all sums received by him shall be made deductions, including the Pension Fund of Russia.
Teachers eligible for compensation of costs for the purchase of literature
For teaching staff provides for the possibility of obtaining compensation for the monthly book-publishing products and periodicals. The purpose of granting such a right - the promotion of relevant literature teachers. This is stated in paragraph 8 of Article 55 of the Federal Law of July 10, 1992 № 3266-1 «On Education."
Thus, the teaching staff of the federal state of higher education institutions and secondary vocational education shall receive compensation at a rate of 150 rubles. And in other federal public educational institutions - at a rate of 100 rubles.
For teachers of educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation, the compensation payable by the decision of state power of RF subjects (who also set the size). For municipal educational institutions - to address the local authority.
There are benefits to public services
In paragraph 5 of Article 55 of the Federal Law of July 10, 1992 № 3266-1 «On Education" provides an opportunity to provide educational benefits to employees of educational institutions to community services. Thus, these benefits include the right to free teachers living area with heating and lighting in rural areas, workers' settlements or towns.
